William & Courtney Con
Feeling the call to pastoral ministry, William left his home in British Columbia’s lower mainland to obtain a B.A. in Theology at Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, SK in 2008. William met Courtney at Briercrest and they got married in January 2014. They moved to Regina in 2015 where they got involved with The Compass Church. William was trained as a church planter under its leadership while earning his M.A. in Leadership and Management. William begun to search for a full-time pastoral position soon after obtaining his M.A. which led him to Parkland Community Church.
William came from a mixed family with three siblings who all still live in BC along with his mother. Having lost his father at the age of twelve, William’s faith was grounded in the love he felt God surrounded him in. Although he had lost his biological father, Will knew he had found a spiritual one.
To curb their love for binge-watching shows on Netflix, as a couple, Wiliam and Courtney enjoy having meals with friends and playing games. Both William and Courtney have a passion to see people’s lives transformed by Jesus. As William ventures into his first lead pastoral position, they are excited to be a part of God’s work in Yorkton and its surrounding communities.
